- Account details: Name, phone number, email address, profile picture, class level, and educational board when you register or update your profile
- Form submissions: Name, email, phone number, subject preferences, and messages when you submit contact, counselling, career application, programme enquiry, or CEST registration forms
- Learning data: Quiz answers and scores, assignment submissions (including uploaded files), discussion forum posts, and course progress
- Payment information: Transaction details when you make a payment (card/UPI/bank details are handled entirely by Razorpay and are never stored on our servers)

- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, lesson completion, video watch duration, and learning streaks
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device identifiers
- Cookies and local storage: Authentication tokens and session data to keep you logged in (see Section 6)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account, and authenticate your identity
- Deliver courses, quizzes, assignments, live classes, and other educational content
- Track your learning progress, generate analytics, and provide personalised recommendations
- Process payments and confirm enrolments
- Respond to your enquiries, provide support, and send important notifications about your account or courses
- Evaluate scholarship applications and CEST results
- Improve our platform, content, and services based on usage patterns
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We use trusted third-party services to operate our platform (see Section 4). These providers only access your data to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Instructors: Your name, quiz scores, assignment submissions, and discussion posts may be visible to your course instructors for the purpose of teaching and grading.
- Leaderboards: If you participate in quizzes, your name and score may appear on course leaderboards visible to other enrolled students.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
4. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google (OAuth): For account sign-in. When you choose "Continue with Google", we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or other data.
- Razorpay: For payment processing. Your payment details (card numbers, UPI IDs, bank information) are collected and processed directly by Razorpay. We only receive transaction confirmation details (payment ID, order ID, and status).
- Vercel: For hosting our website and storing uploaded files (profile pictures, assignment submissions).
- Google Sheets: Form submissions (contact, counselling, programme enquiries) are logged in Google Sheets for our team to review and respond.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers managed by our backend infrastructure. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- CSRF token protection against cross-site request forgery
- Secure, HTTP-only authentication cookies
- Access controls limiting who within our team can view personal data
While we take security seriously, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against all threats.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
We use the following browser storage mechanisms:
- Authentication cookie (
ch10_auth_token): Keeps you logged in across sessions. This is a secure, essential cookie required for the platform to function. - Local storage (
ch10_lms_user): Stores your profile information locally for faster page loads. Cleared when you log out.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any future analytics cookies will be clearly disclosed.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information via your profile settings
- Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time

- We encourage parents to supervise their children's use of the platform

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. After account deletion, we may retain certain data for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Anonymous, aggregated data (e.g. platform usage statistics) may be retained indefinitely.
